Russian attacks across Ukraine

At the beginning of the day, Russia launched several attacks on the territory of Ukraine, using various weapons: attack UAVs, cruise, ballistic and anti-aircraft guided missiles.

A total of 64 Russian drones and missiles were used: 20 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs, 29 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles, 4 Kh-22 cruise missiles, 3 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles, 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, and 5 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles.

The Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 44 air targets:

  • 26 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles;
  • 3 Kalibr cruise missiles;
  • 15 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs.

As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded civilians, including children. Multi-storey and private buildings, as well as other civilian infrastructure in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Lviv regions, have been destroyed and damaged.

Frontline situation

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. Certain units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

At the same time, the Russian army continued shelling the entire borderline with mortars and artillery: over 20 settlements across the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were attacked.

In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 3 Russian attacks near Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region, where the Russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian defense. More than 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 7 attacks near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Terny and Torske in the Donetsk region. About 10 localities suffered from artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Ivanivske and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. About 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 25 attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka and another 9 attacks near Nevelske in the Donetsk region. About 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Marinka sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back the Russian army in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. More than 5 settlements were subjected to Russian attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk sector, Russia did not conduct any assault operations. However, about 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 2 attacks west of Verbove and Robotyne, where the Russian troops unsuccessfully tried to break through the Ukrainian defense. More than 20 localities came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Kherson sector, Russia doesn’t abandon its intention to drive Ukrainian units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, 3 unsuccessful attempts to storm the positions of our troops were made during the day. Over 5 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

Over the day, Ukrainian aviation struck 6 Russian military positions.

The missile troops struck 3 manpower concentration areas and 2 munitions depots.

  • Over the past day, February 6, 92 combat engagements took place at the front. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks in 7 sectors and killed 890 soldiers.
