Russia attacks railway station in Ukraine's Sumy region, injuring three workers
In the Sumy region, three railway workers were injured in a Russian drone attack on a railway station, which also damaged the station building
Ukraine's state-owned railway company Ukrzaliznytsia reported this.
"One employee from the wagon service, who was on duty, and another from the paramilitary security and communication service, who was on a business trip, were injured. The injured railway workers received all necessary medical care," the company stated.
The Russian shelling also caused damage to the station building and shattered 15 double-glazed windows.
"Fortunately, there were no injuries among passengers or station staff. All Ukrzaliznytsia trains in the region are operating on schedule," the company’s press service added.
The Prosecutor's Office of Sumy region reported that Russia used FPV drones to carry out the attack. The strike targeted the railway station in Khutir-Mykhailivskyi (Druzhba), Shostka district.
Legal proceedings have been initiated for violations of the laws and customs of war.
