Russian army loses nearly 600,000 soldiers since early 2024
Since the beginning of 2024, the Russian army has lost 591,950 soldiers in the war against Ukraine

This is according to the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
"In one year and four months, Russian losses in terms of personnel have amounted to almost 600,000 people (591,950)," he noted.
The general emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to destroy the occupying Russian forces, bringing Ukraine closer to a just peace.
"Thank you to the soldiers for their resilience and effective combat work!" he added.
- Since the beginning of the day, there have been 100 combat engagements on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 33 Russian attacks in the Pokrovsk sector, and 7 battles are still ongoing.
