Russian army builds on successes, develops offensive in Toretsk direction - DeepState
DeepState co-founder Roman Pohorilyi says the situation is getting worse in the Toretsk direction
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"There is a complex issue that raises many additional unanswered questions. Over the past few days, we have seen active discussions, in particular in the area of Yurivka and New York, with the brigades and units that are there, including the 206th Territorial Defense Battalion. The soldiers began to speak publicly about what was happening there. According to the fighters of the 206th Battalion, the command of the 41st Brigade is erasing these units, erasing people with incomprehensible orders," Pohorilyi emphasized.
According to the DeepState co-founder, Russian forces are taking advantage of this situation. They are constantly attacking Ukrainian positions, using a large number of infantry and pulling up reserves.
"The enemy sees an opportunity to take advantage of their successes and build on them. Our fighters are doing their best, holding back the pressure on their shoulders and working to the limit of their capabilities. However, the Russian army is increasing its potential by using a large number of attacks, artillery, and aviation," explained Pohorilyi.
He added that Russian troops are shelling the Toretsk agglomeration and surrounding settlements, destroying them.
"The situation is getting more complicated, which is evident from public discussions. We tried to draw attention to these events, but this is just a general description without details. We hope for changes, but the situation there is getting more complicated and deteriorating," said Pohorilyi.
