Russian army attempts new major assaults in Kupyansk sector - Achilles Battalion
Oles Maliarevych, deputy commander with the 92nd Brigade's Achilles Battalion, says that the Russian army hasn’t made any territorial gains in the Kupyansk area in recent days
He said this on Espreso TV.
"Russia's goal in the Kupyansk sector is clear - to capture the left bank of the Oskil River. Despite their losses, the invaders are moving towards this goal. In recent days, they have not made any territorial gains. My personal opinion is that the enemy is preparing new attempts at large-scale assaults. In the meantime, small enemy groups are operating, trying to move in from the left or right with infantry, maybe one armored personnel carrier. We are observing all this, conducting reconnaissance, and working on what we see," said the deputy commander of the Achilles Battalion.
Oles Maliarevych added that the Russian electronic warfare is being continuously destroyed, not only suppressed, as this is the key to the success of the Ukrainian units' actions.
- On September 29, the General Staff’s report stated that 136 combat engagements had taken place on the Russian-Ukrainian front since the beginning of the day. The Russians were actively attacking in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.
