
Russia violated energy ceasefire over 30 times, says Ukraine's MFA
During the agreed energy ceasefire with Ukraine, Russia has violated it more than 30 times
This was stated by the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhii Tykhyi, as reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
He emphasized that just in the last 24 hours, Russia violated the ceasefire three times: damaging transformers in Mykolaiv region and in the outskirts of Kherson due to shelling, as well as an electricity transmission line in Poltava region.
"All of this is considered a violation of the energy ceasefire. We are informing our partners about this. By the way, over the course of the energy ceasefire, Russia has violated it more than 30 times," Tykhyi stated.
He also emphasized that Kyiv provides detailed facts of Russia's violations of the energy ceasefire to partner countries and to the headquarters of international organizations.
- President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that on March 25, a ceasefire on energy infrastructure could be implemented, and this issue has been agreed upon with the United States.
