According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the largest number of enemy activities is in our area, in the Novopavlivka sector. Traditionally, Pervomaysk community remains very hot, and the enemy is also trying to advance from Marinka, developing its bridgehead in the direction of Kurakhove through the village of Heorhiivka. From the south, the invaders are trying to attack Krasnohorivka. The village of Nevelske is also strategically important for the encirclement of Pervomayske," said the Legion of Freedom officer.
The serviceman added that those settlements or parts of the frontline he did not name are also constantly shelled by the enemy. Ukrainian defenders are also conducting certain counterattacks, working on the Russian enemy approaches.
"The enemy has chosen the tactic of working in twos, that is, two people run and actually try to slip past our positions. Sometimes they even manage to reach our guys, but they are met with heavy fire. They also attack with armoured vehicles. Traditionally, in the morning, three enemy armoured personnel carriers move out in several frontline areas, two of them are usually hit, and the third one runs away. The enemy is widely using unmanned aerial vehicles along the entire contact line, using this means to try to wipe out peaceful Ukrainian villages and towns. In addition, there are a lot of enemy FPV drones. On our section, Russian invaders used guided aerial bombs, poisonous grenades, phosphorus, and everything else they have at their disposal," summed up Serhiy Voronov.
