Russia drops guided aerial bomb on residential neighborhood in Kharkiv, killing one person

Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on the Russian attack on Kharkiv.

"The attack on a residential neighborhood of Kharkiv hit apartment blocks. There are dead and wounded. This is another act of bloody terror against Ukrainians," Terekhov wrote at 16:10.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, it is the Shevchenkivskyi district, that Russian forces struck 2 times.

As of 16:35, one person was reported dead. At least 10 people sustained injuries of varying severity, including 4 children.

"Five-story buildings where people lived were heavily damaged. The emergency surgery institute was also damaged. It is currently being established what the aggressor used to strike at civilians in Kharkiv," Terekhov wrote.

The hit occurred on a playground between two high-rise buildings.

"The blast wave tore off the facades and balconies of at least two buildings. The body of a dead man was found near one of the entrances," Ukrainian media reports.
