Russia strikes coal enrichment plant in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, halting all operations

DTEK, Ukraine's largest private energy company, reported the information.

Russia has once again attacked the DTEK coal enrichment plant in Donetsk region. As a result of the strike on the morning of September 8, the destruction of the plant's buildings and damage to technological equipment continue.

“This is not the first large-scale attack on this enterprise, which supplied coal for Ukraine's thermal power generation. The factory's operations are currently completely paralyzed. Its enrichment facilities are unusable,” DTEK emphasized.
