Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reports.
He noted that this is a smaller number of attacks than in May, but it was in June that the Russians first used KAB-250 and FAB-500 guided aerial bombs, known for their super-powerful destructive force, which is greater than that of missiles, to strike Kharkiv.
It also became known that in June, the city was declared in air danger 169 times. The total time of the alerts was 468 hours and 1 minute. There were 48 real threats to the city.
"This once again emphasises that the only thing that can protect us from these threats is modern air defence systems," Terekhov added.
- On May 25, the Russian Federation attacked the Epicentr construction hypermarket in Kharkiv. On 29 May, search and rescue operations were completed, and 19 people were killed.
- On June 9, four Russian prisoners of war visited civilian facilities in Kharkiv that had been shelled by the enemy in late May.
- On June 30, the Russian army hit an enterprise in the centre of Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb. A fire broke out at the site of the hit.
