Rutte: Russia produces more arms in three months than NATO annually
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte says that Russia is cranking out more ammo than the entire NATO alliance combined, and they're doing it way faster
Suspilne reported the information.
"In terms of ammunition, Russia produces as much in three months as NATO does in a year," said Rutte.
According to him, Russia’s military machine is not slowing down; on the contrary, it is gaining momentum. The Kremlin is actively restoring its military potential with the support of China, Iran, and North Korea. Russia is also using Chinese technologies to modernize its army.
"It is expected that this year, Russia’s defense industry will produce 1,500 tanks, 3,000 armored vehicles, and 200 Iskander missiles," said NATO’s Secretary General.
Rutte also emphasized that it cannot be ruled out that Russia will be ready to use force against NATO within the next five years. He mentioned, "Putin is preparing for confrontation, not peace."
- Rutte also stated that the promise to include Ukraine in the Alliance will remain valid, even if it is not mentioned at the summit in The Hague on June 24-25.
