"Russia plays game with us": Ukrainian army colonel Selezniov comments on destruction of S-400, S-300 air defenses in Crimea
Military expert, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladyslav Selezniov pointed out that after the destruction of air defense systems and radar in Crimea, the Russian forces are trying to immediately replenish their losses using the Kerch bridge
He told about this on the Espreso TV channel
"The Russians are playing a game with us. We are destroying radar systems and launchers of S-300 and S-400 air defence systems in the occupied Crimea. Instead, the occupation forces are trying to find these systems somewhere else and bring them back to the Ukrainian peninsula via the Crimean bridge. What happened last night is a large-scale operation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Our missile troops used ATACMS missiles to turn Russian S-400 and S-300 air defense systems, as well as radar systems, into a pile of scrap," Selezniov said.
According to the colonel, Russia cannot hide the location and movement of air defense systems in the occupied Crimea
"It is a fait accompli that ATACMS were working on the occupation forces in Crimea. In different parts of Crimea, closer to Chornomorsk. There were also explosions near Yevpatoriya and Dzhankoy. Moreover, the sites of the fires were in an open field, which confirms the information that the rockets were coming from the launchers. This is great news. Because our intelligence receives verified information on the location of enemy air defense systems in a timely manner. Therefore, despite the fact that the Russian troops are trying to conceal the movement and location of air defense systems, we have full information about their actions," he added.
- On the night of June 10, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully targeted a Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile division near Dzhankoy, as well as two Russian S-300 anti-aircraft missile divisions near Chornomorske and Yevpatoria.
- The Atesh guerrilla movement reported that the Russian command "recommends" that air defense servicemen evacuate their families from the temporarily occupied Crimea. This coincides with the relocation of Russian air defense systems to the Belgorod region.
