Russia loses two Pantsir systems, several control points, artillery systems in southern Ukraine
Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesperson for Ukraine's Southern Defense Forces, says that Ukrainian defenders are holding positions in Krynky and in the Orikhiv direction
He said this on Espreso TV.
"There were 11 attacks in the Orikhiv sector, the situation is very difficult. Objects are being heavily shelled. Accordingly, it is difficult to supply and evacuate, but our troops are holding their positions there. The same is true for Krynky, where there were three attempts by Russians to storm it yesterday. Krynky is gone, as are the buildings to hold on to. But Ukrainian marines are holding their positions in Krynky," emphasized Pletenchuk.
The head of the Center for Strategic Communications of the Southern Defense Forces added that yesterday, June 4, the Russians lost another company.
"Over 150 soldiers, one third of them are killed. Among the interesting things is the loss of two Pantsirs in our operational area yesterday. A few days ago, the Solntsepyok was destroyed. For two days in a row, the Russians have been losing 10 artillery pieces in our sector. No less interesting are the losses of control points, UAV control points, and enemy field depots," noted Pletenchuk.
- Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost at least 1,280 soldiers, 12 tanks, snd 40 artillery systems in the war against Ukraine.
- Mykola Volokhov, commander of the Terra unit with the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, said that the brigade is working to replace assault and mechanized infantry on the battlefield with unmanned vehicles.
