The occupying Russian army lost at least 1,790 personnel over the day of the war, along with several pieces of equipment and weaponry

Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.

Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to December 2, 2024, are approximately:

  • personnel - about 743,920 (+1,790),
  • tanks - 9,478 (+9),
  • armored fighting vehicles - 19,397 (+28), 
  • artillery systems - 20,953 (+30),
  • MLRS - 1,253 (+0),
  • air defense systems - 1,019 (+0),
  • aircraft - 369 (+0),
  • helicopters - 329 (+0),
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 19,886 (+83),
  • cruise missiles - 2,852 (+0),
  • ships/boats - 28 (+0),
  • submarines - 1 (+0),
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 30,606 (+99),
  • special equipment - 3,619 (+0).
