Attack on Kyiv
At 00:47 a.m., the outlet wrote about the sounds of explosions in Kyiv. Two minutes later, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported on air defense operations in the city.
“Unfortunately, a night without an air raid alert has become a big exception for Kyiv residents. These are the harsh realities of this terrible war. Last night was turbulent again for Kyiv residents and for most regions of the country. Russian troops carried out one of the most massive drone attacks on civilians and infrastructure in Ukraine. Enemy drones also threatened Kyiv. However, thanks to the coordinated work of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, all UAVs moving towards the capital were neutralized. Combat operations in Kyiv's airspace on its outskirts lasted over 4.5 hours,” reported Serhiy Popko, Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
According to the operational report, there were no casualties and no damage in the city.
He urged Kyiv residents to follow safety rules and use shelters.
