
Russia drops 31 guided bombs on Kupyansk overnight, causing casualties and destroying power station

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
"We are recording a deterioration in the security situation in the town. The enemy continues to attack civilian and infrastructure facilities and terrorize the peaceful people," the message stated.
The official reported that the Russian army dropped more than 30 guided bombs at the central part of Kupyansk. According to Syniehubov, three local residents were injured, and one person was killed.
Later, the head of the Investigation Department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, Serhiy Bolvinov, clarified that Russia launched 31 guided air bombs on Kupyansk overnight. According to him, the town center is nearly destroyed.
"The town is in ruins. The first wave, four air bombs, occurred around 3 a.m. Then, a few hours later, another bombing, with 27 more guided air bombs dropped after 9 a.m.," he wrote.
According to updated information, two people were killed and four were injured – all civilians.
"We are pulling the victims from the rubble. Under the debris, we found an 84-year-old woman who died in her own home. Another victim, as of now, is a 51-year-old man, who was also at home during the attack," Bolvinov informed.
In addition to air bombs, the enemy used artillery and drones.
The town is also without water and electricity, as Russian forces destroyed the power substation.

In Kyiv region, air defense systems were activated, and due to damage to infrastructure, the routes of several trains in Kirovohrad region were changed. Additionally, damage was reported in Kropyvnytskyi.
