
Russia launches largest attack yet on Ukraine’s Kropyvnytskyi, injuring 10

Air defense operation in Kyiv region
At 9:17 p.m., the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that Russian UAVs were spotted in the airspace of the region. Air defense forces were operating on targets.
Aftermath of Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia
The acting mayor of Zaporizhzhia, Rehina Kharchenko, reported that a UAV attack partially damaged several apartments in high-rise buildings across the city, primarily shattering windows.
She added that the city’s emergency services are addressing the aftermath of the attack, while utility workers are covering the broken windows.
Attack on Kropyvnytskyi
At 11:27 p.m., the head of Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, Andriy Raikovych, reported that Russia was attacking residential neighborhoods in Kropyvnytskyi.
“All services are working. Dear friends, if you are wounded or burned, please call an ambulance immediately. All hospitals in the city are ready to receive you,” Raikovych wrote.
At 12:19 p.m., Suspilne reported that about 30 explosions had occurred in the city.
Later, Raikovych stated that Kropyvnytskyi had experienced its most massive attack since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, with approximately 21 drones targeting the city.
"Their fragments, and in some cases direct impacts, struck residential areas, private homes, and high-rise buildings. The facade glazing on Myr Street was completely destroyed. The State Emergency Service is currently providing assistance, and an Invincibility Point is being set up," he said.
Reports indicated that several people were injured in the attack, including a child. Medical professionals are providing them with assistance.
Shortly after, the head of the Regional Military Administration told Suspilne that eight people had sought medical attention following the Russian strike, with three requiring hospitalization. One of the wounded is in critical condition, having suffered burns on 90% of his body. He is currently undergoing surgery.
At 4:38 a.m., the State Emergency Service reported on the consequences of the attack.
"Civilian infrastructure was destroyed as a result of the attack. Residential buildings in several districts were damaged, with windows shattered, balconies destroyed, and structural damage sustained," the statement read.
Additionally, psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 25 people.
As of 7 a.m. on March 20, according to the National Police, the number of victims increased to 10, including 4 children.
