Russia is pulling up reserves, redeploys in Kharkiv region - Kharkiv official
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, speaks on where and from which directions Russia is deploying its troops in the Kharkiv region
He wrote about this on Telegram.
"The front line has been stabilised, but the enemy still keeps trying to attack the positions of our military, and they are still facing the task of possible advancement deep into our territory, so the defensive operation is actually ongoing. The enemy is not succeeding in the Lypetsk direction, and in the Vovchansk direction as well. Accordingly, street battles are taking place there both yesterday and today, our soldiers are trying to take a more favourable tactical position," said Syniehubov.
He noted that Russian troops are trying to assault in the Kupyansk direction and are pulling up reserves there.
"The enemy is conducting assault operations without actually slowing down, for this purpose Russia is pulling up reserves both to the north of our territory and to the Kupyansk direction as well. Where does Russia actually get these resources from: the Sumy direction, and from the Kupyansk direction redeploys troops to the north of our territory," the head of the region said.
Also, according to unconfirmed information, Russia is even moving reserves from the Kherson direction.
"Well, there is already information that they allegedly pulled their reserves from the Kherson direction to the Kharkiv direction, so we will analyse and look at it accordingly, but I will only say one thing - our military is ready for any pulling up of reserves, etc. and now the main goal is to inflict the greatest damage to the enemy, its manpower, weapons and military equipment," Syniehubov added.
- On June 11, military expert and co-chair of the Right Cause NGO, Dmytro Snegiryov, said Russia may sharply intesify its activity in the Kharkiv and Sumy directions in the coming days.
