Russia steps up attacks on Pokrovsk, Lyman fronts amid 64 frontline clashes

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are repelling the Russian advance. Currently, the number of clashes with the Russian aggressor is 67.

Today, Russian aviation strikes hit the community of Petrushivka in the Sumy region.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled an enemy attack near Vovchansk. The Russian army launched an airstrike on the settlement of Vovchanskі Khutory.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian forces attacked five times near the settlements of Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, and Zelenyi Hai. Four clashes are still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian army conducted ten attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Hrekivka, Novyi Myr, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, and in the direction of Hryhorivka; three clashes are still ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers firmly hold the defense and inflict losses on the enemy.

In the Siversk direction, the Russian army unsuccessfully attacked near Verkhniokamianske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russia stormed defense positions near Bila Hora. Ukrainian defenders stopped three Russian offensive actions.

In the Toretsk direction, five clashes occurred since morning near the settlements of Dyliivka, Pleshchiivka, Toretsk, and in the direction of Yablunivka. Defense Forces repelled all enemy attacks.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops made 23 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from positions near Poltavka, Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Malynivka, Lysivka, Dachenske, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Muravka, and in the direction of Pokrovsk. Defense Forces hold the line and repelled 17 enemy attacks; five clashes continue. The enemy launched an airstrike on Myroliubivka.

In the Novopavlivka direction, twelve Russian attacks occurred near Kostiantynopil, Odradne, Novosilka, Vilne Pole, Zelene Pole, Novopillia, and in the directions of Novoukrainka and Komar; two clashes are ongoing. The enemy launched an airstrike on the area of Novopillia.

In the Huliaipole direction, Russian aviation struck the areas of Olhivske, Poltavka, and Huliaipole settlements.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian enemy launched airstrikes near Orikhiv and Novoandriivka settlements.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the invading Russian forces struck the area of Olhivka settlement with an airstrike.

In the Kursk direction, 12 clashes occurred today. Additionally, the enemy launched eight airstrikes, dropped 14 guided bombs, and conducted 70 artillery shellings on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including two from multiple rocket launchers.

No significant changes occurred on other directions.
