Russia takes control of Kostiantynivka in Ukraine’s Sumy region — DeepState

On Monday, June 2, reports have emerged saying that Russian forces have captured the settlement of Kostiantynivka in the Sumy region

According to the source, Russian forces advanced in Oleksiivka in the Sumy region, as well as in the Lyman sector — in Ridkodub and near Karpivka in the Donetsk region.

Russian forces have reportedly occupied Kostiantynivka in the Sumy region, a settlement located practically on the border with Russia. Before the full-scale war, it had a population of 243.

  • On June 2, the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, reported that in the Sumy region, Russian most active operations are taking place in the direction of Basivka and Zhuravka.
