Russia has fired 60 North Korean ballistic missiles at Ukraine so far — Ukraine’s intelligence
Andrii Cherniak, a representative of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence, stated that since the start of the full-scale war, Russian forces have used around 60 North Korean KN-23 ballistic missiles in attacks on Ukraine
He shared this information with the Radio Svoboda's Donbas.Realities project.
"Their accuracy is generally not very high. We understand that the technologies used in their production are outdated. However, they still pose a danger. Whether one dies from a missile produced in 2024 or one made with older technologies makes no difference," Cherniak said.
He also emphasized that these missiles pose a serious threat to Ukraine's industry.
Additionally, intelligence suggests that North Korea may be supplying Russia with "millions" of artillery shells.
"When it comes to artillery munitions, we’re talking about millions. We constantly observe the movement of cargo and containers. It’s possible they contain artillery shells that North Korea either produces or already has in stock," stated the intelligence representative.
- North Korea has delivered over 100 artillery systems, more than 100 short-range ballistic missiles of the KN-23/24 type, and around 5 million rounds of ammo to Russia.
- U.S. Deputy Representative Robert Wood stated during a UN Security Council meeting that North Korea is preparing to supply Russia with additional ballistic missiles.
