He told about this on Espreso TV.
‘The enemy does not take away its killed personnel, they are lying in the middle of an open field. I'll tell you more, the Russians do not even evacuate their wounded. Accordingly, the wounded are either dying themselves or the Ukrainian Defense Forces are helping them. For example, we recently helped one of the wounded Russians near our positions. We dropped a note and water from a drone, then took him out, after which he surrendered,’ said the staff sergeant.
Kyrylo Duchko noted that the Russian soldier who surrenders will live and will be exchanged for a Ukrainian military in the future.
- On 19 August, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that 145 combat engagements took place between the two armies on the frontline over the past day. The Russian occupation army is attacking the Pokrovsk and Toretsk directions the most.
- The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also informed that the total losses of the Russian army among its personnel in the war in Ukraine have already reached 600,000. The Defense Forces eliminated 1,120 Russian soldiers over the past day.
