Russia deploys fresh Storm Z units to Pokrovsk direction — Ukraine’s 59th Brigade
Serhiy Tsehotskyi, officer with the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, noted that the number of Russian infantry has increased in the Pokrovsk sector, changing their tactics of assaults
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
“The situation in the Pokrovsk sector remains stably tense. The enemy conducts assaults, we repel them and hold the line of defense. In the area of the brigade's responsibility, we observe hostile activity in such settlements as Ukrainsk, Dolynynivka, Tsukuryne, Halytsynivka, Krasnohorivka and Zhelanne. There is an increase in the number of infantry, who are changing their assault tactics, trying to move two by two to certain points and accumulate there. Our task is to track them and prevent their advance,” noted Tsehotskyi.
According to the officer, the situation near Hirnyk is very difficult. Russia has significantly intensified shelling from artillery and UAVs, the number of which has almost doubled.
“It is impossible to drive or walk through the open area. We are moving very carefully, only with the help of electronic warfare equipment. All the roads are dotted with broken and burnt cars. Their newest convicts, stormtroopers recruited from prisons, arrived in our direction. Their level of training is low, but they have weapons. That is, the Russians are throwing everything they have at our direction,” emphasized Tsehotskyi.
