Zaporizhzhia and region

At 8:28 p.m., Zaporizhzhia regional governor Ivan Fedorov reported that a Russian drone struck a village in the Polohy district.

“Debris injured a 51-year-old man and damaged agricultural machinery,” he said.

At 11:12 p.m., Fedorov warned of an enemy strike drone moving toward the Voznesenivskyi district of Zaporizhzhia. Minutes later, explosions were heard in the city.

The governor clarified that Russian forces had hit a civilian infrastructure facility.

“Preliminarily, there are casualties. More details later,” he added.

He later confirmed that Russia carried out at least two strikes on Zaporizhzhia, partially destroying a shop building.

As a result of the attack, nearly 9,000 households in Zaporizhzhia were left without power.

At 12:02 a.m., Fedorov reported more explosions in Zaporizhzhia region, with air defense in action.

At 12:05 a.m., another enemy strike drone was detected near the town of Vilniansk, heading toward Zaporizhzhia.

Fedorov later specified that around midnight, the city was attacked by two drones.

“A fire broke out. A shop was destroyed. Preliminary reports say there were no casualties,” he noted.

In the morning, Fedorov clarified that the overnight attack also damaged two apartment blocks and several non-residential premises.

Vinnytsia region

At 2:31 a.m., Natalia Zabolotna, first deputy head of the regional administration, reported that Vinnytsia region was under attack by Russian drones. A strike hit critical infrastructure.

She later clarified that a residential building was also damaged — windows shattered, the roof hit.

“As of 6:30 a.m., the fire has been extinguished. Train service has resumed. One residential building remains without electricity, and repair crews are working,” Zabolotna added.

In the morning, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service showed the aftermath of the attack.

Odesa region

Ukrzaliznytsia reported that railway infrastructure in Odesa region was struck by Russian drones, sustaining damage.

“Fortunately, no railway workers or passengers were injured — thanks to swift action, all passenger trains were stopped at a safe distance from the impact sites. Train service has already resumed, and we are doing everything possible to minimize delays,” the company said.

Chernihiv region

On Friday, September 26, the Russian army attacked energy facilities in Chernihiv region.

Chernihiv city and nearby areas were left without electricity and water supply, and street lighting in the city will remain off. Aviation was deployed to repel the air attack.
