He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"We are worried about every soldier. The enemy has concentrated all its main efforts in the Pokrovsk sector. The Russians are attacking around the clock, using all available weapons," noted Tsehotskyi.
According to an officer of the 59th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade, each unit has a specific task, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces command is closely monitoring the implementation of the tasks.
"Over the past day, about 100 occupiers were eliminated in our area alone. This morning we have already eliminated about 20 occupiers. And this is only our brigade, and only in our area," emphasised Tsehotskyi.
- Over the last day, August 26, 170 combat clashes took place at the frontline. Pokrovsk remains the hottest area.
- Over the past day, the Russian army lost 1,280 troops in the war in Ukraine. The Ukrainian defence forces destroyed 12 Russian tanks, as well as shot down 120 drones and 103 missiles.
