Russia attacks Kherson region with Grad MLRS, leaving 2 dead, medical workers injured
On the morning of July 19, Russian forces shelled Bilozerka village in Kherson region, killing two women and injuring medical workers
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported the shelling.
A residential building in Bilozerka came under attack. As a result, a 72-year-old local resident sustained fatal injuries in her own home.
The head of the Regional Military Administration expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
Later, Prokudin clarified that Russian troops attacked the village with Grad MLRS, firing about forty shells.
The body of a woman was recovered from the rubble of a house, bringing the death toll to two. There are also wounded as a result of the Russian attacks, including medical workers.
Six dozen civilian buildings were damaged by the shelling.
As of 11:37 a.m., two people were killed and five injured.
A 43-year-old man was taken to the hospital with explosive injuries, concussion, shrapnel wounds to the back of the head and thigh.
A 69-year-old medical worker was injured in her own apartment by a shock wave. She sustained contusion, concussion and blast injury. The victim received medical aid on the spot.
Local residents, aged 52 and 39, sustained contusions and blast injuries. They were also provided with the necessary assistance on the spot.
A paramedic who was helping the victims was also hit by a Russian drone. The 26-year-old woman was hospitalized with explosive injuries and contusion.
