The British Ministry of Defense reported the information.
On average, the Russian army had been losing 983 soldiers per day over the past month.
“The increase in the daily average almost certainly reflects Russia’s commitment to mass and attritional warfare. Although costly in terms of human life, the resulting effect has increased the pressure on Ukraine’s positions across the frontline,” British intelligence emphasizes.
According to the UK Ministry of Defense, Russia has already lost over 355,000 of its military personnel in the war against Ukraine.
- According to Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, as of March 3, the Russian army has already lost 416,800 soldiers in the war with Ukraine.
