Putin crushes Trump's Nobel Peace Prize dreams — political analyst
Ukrainian serviceman and political analyst Kyrylo Sazonov believes that Ukraine, the United States, and Europe, as allies, will put pressure on Russia to agree to peace
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
“I share the Ukrainian optimism. We can see that after the meeting with Putin, Vitkoff did not even give any comments to the press, no statements were made. That is, they just talked. I believe that no concrete results were reached. Moscow has set its ultimatums and conditions: to give it Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, to limit the number of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, to ban Ukraine's accession to NATO and to ban peacekeepers. These are conditions that no one can or will fulfill. That is why they have not achieved any results,” Sazonov said.
The political analyst also added that Trump is already taking certain steps to impose sanctions on Russia, and Ukraine is receiving long-range bombs. That is, everything is going as it should be.
“Ukraine and the United States have agreed on a path to peace. Russia is not satisfied with this, and it is against it and is trying to break Trump's dream of winning the Nobel Peace Prize. Now Ukraine, the US, and Europe, as allies, will put pressure on Russia to agree to peace on our terms. This is good, although not fast. It will probably take the whole year, but it is the best option for us,” Sazonov emphasized.
