President Zelenskyy visits Robotyne front line

He informed about the visit on Telegram.

"Zaporizhzhia region. Robotyne. Location of the 65th separate mechanized brigade. I talked to the defenders, thanked them and presented them with state awards," Zelenskyy wrote.

He received information about the operational situation from the commander of the Zaporizhzhia operational group of troops Volodymyr Horbatiuk, the presidential press service reports.

The President emphasized that it was an honor for him to be in position today to support the soldiers and award them. In particular, he awarded the President's Cross of Military Merit to the commander of the reconnaissance platoon, Senior Lieutenant Andriy Olshanskyi, and awarded the soldiers with the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi and For Courage orders.

"I am honored to be here today. To support you and present you with awards. You have such a difficult, decisive mission on your shoulders - to repel the enemy and win this war. I wish you this victory. I wish you to do everything to make this victory faster. I wish you to be supported by your family, friends and all citizens of Ukraine. All sane people in the world understand that you have the most difficult job, and all Ukrainians are proud of you," Zelenskyy emphasized.

Later, Zelenskyy announced that he conducted a meeting addressing the security situation in the Zaporizhzhia region. During the session, he received updates from military command and heads of law enforcement agencies. Discussions covered defense strategies in the Avdiivka area and near Robotyne, along with considerations for the protection of critical infrastructure.

"Important issues. The situation on the battlefield, defensive actions in the Avdiivka direction, the situation near Robotyne and other frontline areas, fortifications. Protection of critical infrastructure and defense industry of the region from the enemy," the President noted.

• There were 66 combat clashes between Russian troops and Ukrainian defenders at the frontline over the past day. In total, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 52 attacks and eliminated another 810 Russian soldiers.
