"It's true that the Patriot system cannot engage a target at an altitude of 20 meters, and this limitation needs to be acknowledged. We shouldn't rely on Patriot to intercept a target at 25 meters altitude—it's simply impossible," Kryvolap said.
He described the Russian attack on the Trypilska thermal power plant and explained what exactly was used to strike it.
"We have to pay ‘tribute’ to the Russians. They made a very cunning attack. The occupiers launched cruise missiles and Shahed drones from above, while simultaneously deploying Kinzhal missiles to divert attention. However, in my interpretation, these missiles were likely launched from a Su-57 aircraft flying at low altitudes, hidden beneath the barrage of other missiles. Consequently, while Patriot and other defense systems were focused on the threats from above, a number of flying targets, such as the Kh-69 missiles that struck the Trypilska thermal power plant, went unnoticed. This is my personal opinion, I do not have any concrete insights, but given the dynamics of the situation, it is a plausible scenario," added Kryvolap.
