Vasyl Maliuk, head of the Ukrainian Security Service, said this during a meeting with journalists, according to LIGA.net.

“To be honest, the third time we hit the bridge, we used 1,100 kg of explosives, and then another 1,100 kg. So, twice 1,100 kg on the key supports of the illegal structure on Ukrainian territory. I won’t share any additional details for obvious reasons. But believe me: this is the beginning of a new era,” he said.

He recalled that the Ukrainian Security Service has struck the bridge three times: in 2022, they used a truck loaded with 21 tons of explosives (TNT equivalent); in 2023, they used two of their own Sea Baby maritime drones; and in 2025, they hit the structure underwater.
