Russian authorities create housing waitlist in occupied Mariupol
Local residents of Mariupol have started submitting requests to the occupation authorities asking to be provided with municipal housing
Petro Andriushchenko, the head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, said this on Espreso TV.
"A very interesting and important process has begun in Mariupol. The occupation authorities have begun to form queues for municipal, as they call it, housing for Mariupol residents. That is, now the local population is going to the occupation authorities to write applications asking them to give them our apartments - the apartments of the evacuated Mariupol residents. There is nothing pleasant about this. It would be one thing if the occupation authorities did this on their own, but it's another thing when Mariupol residents themselves ask to become accomplices in looting at this level. Probably, this is the last news from Mariupol in recent days that deserves attention," said Andriushchenko.
Andriushchenko also said that blackout continues in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia region.
"As for the other temporarily occupied territories, a lot is happening in the Zaporizhzhia region. Starting with the blackout, which took place thanks to the work of Russian air defense and accurate strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the beginning of the offensive. The Russians are also complaining that the Ukrainian Defense Forces have created a real hell for them in the Polohy sector, because they are trying to advance near Huliaipole and the invaders' hospitals are simply packed. That is, their losses there are high," he summarized.
