The invading Russian forces launched Shahed-type attack drones from the temporarily occupied Crimea and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Russian Federation.
Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the air attack.
As a result of the air defense operations, 12 Shaheds were destroyed in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Poltava regions.

In the evening of Friday, March 8, Russian terrorists launched Shahed drones from the southern direction. An industrial enterprise in the Dnipropetrovsk region was hit.
