Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk says that in the evening of July 18, Ukraine's Defense Forces shot down a Russian Iskander ballistic missile in the Odesa region

"The missile of the Iskander tactical missile system that attacked the Odesa region yesterday was shot down. A significant event," the statement says.
According to Pletenchuk, several previous Russian missiles have hit Ukraine's port infrastructure.
- On the morning of July 19, the Russian army shelled the center of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region, injuring nine people, including a 14-year-old boy. The Russian army fired two Iskander-M missiles. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were also damaged.
