It's impossible to say that Vuhledar is under Russian army's control - Major Hetman
Ukrainian National Guard Reserve Major Oleksii Hetman says that the Ukrainian Defense Forces will have to withdraw from Vuhledar
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
“Judging by various information, the northern part of Vuhledar, where the garages are located, is allegedly still controlled by our troops. In Vuhledar itself, you can see points of resistance in some places. That's why Vuhledar looks like a gray area now. Unfortunately, it is impossible to say for sure who controls it. It is also impossible to say that the city is controlled by the Russian army,” emphasized Hetman.
According to the NGU reserve major, it is likely that the Ukrainian Defense Forces will have to withdraw from Vuhledar.
“But we must remember that the planned withdrawal is also a combat operation that is being prepared, and it is more organizationally complex than offensive or defensive actions,” noted Hetman.
