It will become widespread practice: military expert Zgurets on Russian Pole-1 EW system destruction
Serhiy Zgurets, CEO of Defense Express and military expert, highlighted that the Russian Pole-1 electronic warfare system in the village of Velyki Kopani, Kherson region, was neutralized by the GLSDB system launched from HIMARS
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"We are talking about the destruction of the Russian Pole-1 electronic warfare system in the village of Velyki Kopani, Kherson region. This complex is a large-scale model that is widely represented in the Russian armed forces. However, we see quite effective destruction of such models on the battlefield, and such cases are not uncommon. However, this case is unique because, according to experts, it is carried out with the help of a Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bomb (GLSDB). This is a system that is launched from HIMARS and has a range of more than 100 km," the military expert commented.
According to him, this system has a precise point hit with a deviation of up to 30 cm.
"This is where we see the accuracy demonstrated by our calculations in practice. But it is also important to combine intelligence means, because we understand the need to calculate the exact location of this enemy electronic warfare system. When this enemy complex stopped while moving, it was hit with GLSDB. I think this practice will be widespread on our part. Accordingly, such high-value targets for the enemy will be destroyed on a larger scale, which will reduce the effectiveness of the Russian electronic warfare umbrella and allow our FPV drones to operate at a shorter range to destroy other enemy targets that should cover these electronic warfare systems," summarized Serhiy Zgurets.
