Ukraine authorizes ministers to sign framework agreement with U.S. on mineral resources

This is stated in the government decree dated February 26, 2025.  

The government approved the draft Bilateral Agreement on establishing the rules and conditions of the Reconstruction Investment Fund and authorized Yuliia Svyrydenko or Andrii Sybiha to sign the agreement.

• The agreement on Ukrainian rare earth minerals with the U.S. now mentions security guarantees for Kyiv. Zelenskyy says it could be a major success or go unnoticed.
