3rd Assault Brigade deputy commander calls on West to prepare for war with Russia

He said this in an interview with The Independent.

Zhorin issued an alarming warning to Ukrainian partners, saying that the West should urgently prepare, as Russia will not stop at Ukraine.

"Create serious defence systems that could counteract Russia because it will undoubtedly open its mouth and try to swallow the rest of Europe," he said.

According to him, the 3rd Assault Brigade may minimise the Russian offensive, but the threat of a new offensive by Putin's troops is real now.

"Use this time wisely," the deputy commander advised, addressing Ukraine's Western partners directly. "While Russia is attacking Ukraine, prepare for your own war with Russia."

• On March 28, the deputy commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade, Maksym Zhorin, said that Orlivka was a guard for the Russian army and described the town as a priority for the Russian forces in the Avdiivka sector.
