Deputy commander of 3rd Assault Brigade tells about Russian priority in Avdiivka sector
Maksym Zhorin, deputy commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade, said that Orlivka costed several units to the Russian army and spoke about the settlement, which is a priority for Russia in the Avdiivka sector
He wrote about this on Telegram.
"Now they (the Russian troops - ed.) have concentrated most of their attention and main offensive forces in the Avdiivka sector on Semenivka. They are constantly trying to storm and find weaknesses in the defense. Also, every day attacks take place in the area of Berdychi," he wrote.
He noted that from time to time, the Ukrainian military hear in intercepted conversations how the Russian servicemen report that they "have occupied certain lines, although in fact they have not even reached them. This is a common practice in Russian units."
