"By calculation, this is the most favorable period for both Russia and Ukraine to achieve something," he explained.

According to the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, this assessment is influenced by several circumstances at once, particularly the level of military activity and seasonal factors.

"This is connected to military activity, the heating season, and so on. There are many factors. I'm simply giving you the conclusion," Budanov added.
