Explosions, blaze at military base: Ukrainian Defense Forces target ammo depots in Russia's Bryansk region
Late Sunday night, November 10, Ukrainian drones struck ammunition depots in Russia's Bryansk region, setting off explosions and a fire at a military base
The General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported the incident.
They noted that the overnight strike was conducted by the Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, in coordination with other Defense Forces units.
The attack targeted ammo depots belonging to the 1060th Logistics Center (previously known as the 120th Arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate) in Bryansk.
"At least eight explosions were recorded. Objective monitoring confirms at least two ignition points within the military unit, along with evidence of secondary detonations," the General Staff stated.
Bryansk's regional governor, Alexander Bogomaz, also reported the attack, claiming that 14 drones were intercepted over the area. One drone caused a fire in a non-residential building.
Social media posts indicated that the 1060th logistics center was likely hit, as evidenced by the fire reported following the drone strikes.
Meanwhile, Russia's Defense Ministry claimed its air defenses intercepted and destroyed 23 Ukrainian UAVs last night: 17 over Bryansk, three over Rostov, two over Belgorod, and one over Kursk.
- Additionally, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced that Russian air defenses allegedly shot down 32 drones near the capital early on November 10.
