Drones strike Russian border town, locals appeal to Putin for help
Russia has accused Ukraine of drone attacks on a TV tower and a substation in the border town of Sudzha in the Kursk region. Local residents have appealed for help to Vladimir Putin

The Russians accused Ukraine of shelling the television tower in Sudzha, causing it to catch fire. There have been no casualties reported.
Additionally, a substation in the city was reportedly attacked in the morning by Ukrainian UAVs, resulting in a fire.
Local community leader, representing residents of Sudzha and Sudzha district, sent a letter to Putin and the acting head of the Kursk region, Smirnov. Signed by 408 residents, the letter asks for safety measures.
"We need shelters, help for rebuilding homes, and protection from shelling and drone attacks. We also request electronic warfare, anti-drone rifles, and shotguns for border guards," the letter said.
- On the morning of Saturday, July 13, the Russian authorities announced a drone attack on three regions. In particular, as a result, a fire broke out at one of the oil depots in the Rostov region.
