Difficult but not hopeless – Finland on Ukraine ceasefire talks
Finnish President Alexander Stubb believes that the situation regarding ceasefire negotiations in Ukraine is difficult, but not hopeless

He stated this at a press conference, according to Yle.
The Finnish leader reiterated his recent position that Helsinki cannot accept any coercion for Ukraine to cede territory or limitations on its sovereignty, including ruling out Kyiv’s potential NATO membership.
At the same time, Stubb did not comment on the possible consequences of the United States potentially withdrawing from the ceasefire negotiations.
- The Ukrainian delegation at the talks in London on April 23 wants to discuss a 30-day ceasefire, not the framework of U.S. President Donald Trump's "peace plan."
