Crimea can be liberated with relatively little effort - military expert Selezniov
Military expert Vladyslav Selezniov believes that in order to liberate the occupied Crimea, the Defense Forces should destroy Russian military facilities on the peninsula and the Crimean bridge
He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.
"The activities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the occupied Crimea are systematic, planned and structured. All these activities are aimed at depriving the Russian occupation army of the opportunity to see what is happening in the airspace of Crimea and Sevastopol. I think that such activities of the Defense Forces will only continue," Selezniov explained.
The expert stressed that Russian military facilities in Crimea and the Kerch Bridge must be destroyed.
"At one time, American General Ben Hodges said that the Russian-occupied Crimea could be liberated with relatively little effort. To do this, we need to work in two directions almost simultaneously. The first is the destruction of Russian military facilities in Crimea and Sevastopol. The second is the destruction of the Crimean bridge. This structure must be destroyed because the Russians continue to use the bridge for logistics and to supply their troops. If they lose the Crimean bridge, the uninterrupted logistics for their troops in Crimea will end," he added.
- On Sunday, June 23, Russian occupation forces complained about the alleged sounds of explosions in different parts of Sevastopol. They claimed that air defense systems shot down 4 ATACMS missiles and there were 2 dead.
- In the evening of June 23, at least 8 explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Yevpatoria and nearby settlements
