Combat line is almost stagnant in Avdiivka sector - 47th Brigade

"Our brigade is fighting on the northern flank of Avdiivka, near the villages of Stepove and Berdychi. We are resisting the Russian troops, holding back their invasion. Russia does not stop rocket attacks and launches of anti-aircraft missiles. Enemy artillery is working quite densely, the intensity of fire does not decrease. The Russian armored vehicles are supporting the attacks, and the infantry is trying to break through and find weaknesses in our defense. But so far, the Russian army has not succeeded, and I hope it will not succeed," Lazutkin emphasized.

According to the head of the 47th Brigade's public relations service, the contact line in the area of Avdiivka is almost not moving.

"The Russians are suffering huge losses, and this trend has been going on for several months. We can say that the defense of Avdiivka is effective. This is because the enemy is losing a lot of equipment and manpower," Lazutkin said.

• Over the past day, 88 combat engagements took place at the front. The Ukrainian forces repelled Russian attacks in 6 sectors and killed 1,090 soldiers.
