British Intelligence names Russia's next target in Donetsk region

The next tactical target of the Russian army is likely to be the town of Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region. However, a full-scale offensive is unlikely

The UK Ministry of Defenсe writes about this.

It is noted that the occupation forces do not give up trying to expand their positions around Bakhmut. Russia has advanced to occupy the eastern part of the village of Ivanivske and attack Ukrainian positions in Bohdanivka.

The intelligence suggests that Russia's nearest tactical goal may be the capture of Chasiv Yar, which is located about 5 km from the front line.

"Despite some gradual tactical gains, it is highly unlikely that Russian forces are currently able to attempt a full-scale assault on the town," the intelligence service said.
