General Staff report: 92 combat engagements took place in the frontline, Russian forces attacked in 7 directions

The operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces countered four Russian attacks near Synkivka and Tabaivka in Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces fought off 11 Russian attacks in the vicinity of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Terny, Spirne, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces beat back 11 Russian attacks in the vicinity of Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, the Ukrainian defenders defeated 21 Russian troops' attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the invading Russian troops near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region. The Russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian defense 20 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian military carried out 16 attacks in the areas west of Verbove and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding their positions. Despite significant losses, the Russian troops keep trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions. Over the past day, the occupying Russian forces conducted one unsuccessful attack on Ukrainian positions.

Russian army launches 6 missile strikes, 90 air strikes on Ukrainian territory

Over the last day, 92 engagements took place.

In total, the invading Russian army launched 6 missile strikes, 90 air strikes and fired 115 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

5 settlements in Sumy region; 6 settlements in Kharkiv region; 14 settlements in Donetsk region; 4 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region were hit by air strikes.

More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Ukrainian defense forces hit the Russian personnel concentration area and ammunition depot

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 7 areas where Russian troops were concentrated.

Missile units struck at the area of concentration of Russian personnel, ammunition depot and 4 artillery pieces.

• On March 6, the Russian army tried to attack the Ukrainian positions in the Avdiivka sector 20 times. The 3rd Assault Brigade commented on the situation.
