"This time, Russian forces changed tactics. While they previously attacked mostly with armored vehicles, this time they sent infantry to storm our positions. The attacks were carried out by a large number of infantry groups advancing from multiple directions. The assault began at midnight, lasted throughout the night in several waves, and continued for more than 16 hours. They moved across fields and open areas. Enemy assault troops were also transported in buggies and unloaded in narrow forested areas where they hid under the trees," Ukrainian soldiers reported.
Ukrainian forces successfully repelled the attacks by Russian and North Korean troops. All units of the 47th Brigade engaged the Russian army.
"Bradleys and artillery, using cluster munitions under reconnaissance unit coordination, inflicted heavy losses on the Russian army. Russian casualties in this assault amounted to at least a company of personnel," the statement said.
