Anti-tank trenches, 'dragon's teeth' fortifications are being built around Kramatorsk, Donetsk region
Druzhkivka City Council Deputy Mykola Dovbnia says that the Russian army is advancing only in areas without fortifications
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
“If Russians attacked Pokrovsk earlier, now all the invading forces are being thrown at Kostiantynivka. Finally, there are visual signs that fortifications are being built. At least, a wide anti-tank ditch is being dug around Kramatorsk, and 'dragon's teeth' are being inserted. We can see that the enemy is advancing towards large cities. That is, they have reached Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk and started to surround these cities, but they are no longer attacking head-on,” Dovbnia noted.
According to a member of the Druzhkivka City Council, Chasiv Yar is holding out. Chasiv Yar is a dominant height, and from Chasiv Yar there are routes to Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, so you can move anywhere from there.
“The example of Bakhmut and Chasiv Yar showed that the incredible losses the Russian army suffers in the cities are not recouped by the territories it captures. Therefore, we see that the enemy is advancing only in the fields, in unprotected and unequipped areas,” Dovbnia emphasized.
- Over the last day, February 13, 113 combat clashes were registered in the Russian-Ukrainian front. Ukrainian troops halted 38 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction.
