99 clashes occur on Russian-Ukrainian front: tense situation in Lyman, Pokrovsk sectors

Frontline situation

Near the towns of Vovchansk and Starytsia in the Kharkiv sector, the Russian army has tried to break through the Ukrainian defensive lines 4 times since the beginning of the day; 2 firefights are still ongoing.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russia carried out 7 assault attacks near Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, and Lozova. 4 of the engagements ended, and 3 are still ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, the invading army attacked 17 times near the settlements of Hrekivka, Kopanky, Nadiia, Makiivka, Yampolivka, Zarichne, Terny, Torske, and in the directions of Druzheliubivka and Cherneshchyna. Five enemy attacks remained incomplete.

Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled a Russian attack near Bila Hora in the Kramatorsk sector.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops attacked 5 times near the settlements of Toretsk and Diliivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, since the beginning of the day, the Russians have made 21 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near the settlements of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachanske, Novyi Trud, Zelene, Pishchane, Pokrovsk, and Shevchenko. The Defense Forces are holding back the Russian onslaught and repelled 14 attacks, 7 firefights are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified.

In the Kurakhove sector, Russian army attacked 14 times today near the localities of Sontsivka, Stari Terny, Zorya, Kurakhove, Dachne, and Dalne. 6 engagements were completed, another 8 are still ongoing. In addition, enemy aircraft were active in the area, with air strikes on Ulakly, Oleksiivka, and Kostiantynopil, with a total of 13 guided bombs dropped.

In the Vremivka sector, the Russians attacked the Ukrainian positions 11 times near Veselyi Hai, Kostiantynopilske, Rozlyv, Sukhi Yaliv, Blahodatne, Makarivka, in the directions of Novosilka and Zelenyi Pole, 6 clashes are still ongoing. The Russians also conducted airstrikes on Oleksiivka and Kostiantynopil, using 6 guided aerial bombs.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attacked three times in the areas of Novoandriivka and Piatykhatky.

Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks in the Prydniprovskyi sector.

In the operational area in the Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 11 attacks by Russian forces over the course of the day, and three more attacks are ongoing. The enemy made over 110 attacks.

There were no significant changes in the situation on other frontlines.

"Russian invaders continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. Instead, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are disrupting the enemy's insidious plans, causing significant losses in manpower and equipment," the General Staff writes.

Since the beginning of the day, invaders have continued to shell the border settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation. In particular, Halahanivka, Prohres in the Chernihiv region and Tymofiivka in the Kharkiv region were hit.
